Memory of a Landscape with Sarah Heuser

Saturday 1 May - 29 May 2021, 10am-1pm

5 weeks (15 hours)

Cost: £150

You will explore new ways of creating a composition by developing your image through different processes: drawing, monotype printing, and collage. Then you will translate these into a relief reduction print to experiment with colour combinations while printing a variable edition that explores colour as a starting point. Find inspiration in landscapes – remembered and revisited, make our current confinement a creative opportunity and spend a few hours a week lost in making.

Led by resident artist Sarah Gursoy-Heuser whose work explores fragmented landscape. Sarah will bring her enthusiasm and energy for the subject to this course, referring to both historical and contemporary artistic interpretations of memory and space. Plenty of material to get started with this fun and welcoming printmaking course.
