Finding it hard to print from your relief blocks by hand? We have the answer in these two classes with Rob White. Join this course to learn from the master of of the wooden spoon, the tricks of inking, paper and pressure to get the results you want. All you need is a relief block of some description- wood, lino, cardboard, a roller and printing ink.

The format of the class will be a 40 minute demo, an opportunity to practice and then come back together to show your prints and ask questions.

In Week 1 Rob will talk about inks and inking and demonstrate how to use different objects to hand print your relief blocks. Please be ready with your relief block, a roller and ink to practice yourself and to show results and ask questions.

In Week 2 Rob will discuss different types of paper and how to choose the best paper to get different results. You will receive an exciting pack of paper samples to try out and can of course use anything you already have and ask Rob for his advice on that.
